Toni - Owner
Toni styled her first hair at age 10 - and has been in love ever since. She would go around her neighborhood styling her moms' friends hair.
As the owner of Salon 21, Toni is responsible for the warm atmosphere and creative excellence of the team. Her high energy and love of all things style, give the salon a beautiful, comfortable, relaxing environment. Beauty, in all of its forms, is important to Toni. A new cut or color can build self-confidence and make a difference in how we feel about ourselves.
"Hair is the one thing that makes a woman feel beautiful.  You can put on an expensive dress, make-up, you name it but hair is the most important accessory."
From refined classics to sleek and edgy looks, Toni loves to create "couture" cuts for her client's...something that suits the person's personality and lifestyle. Toni has trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London and attends Bumble and bumble University in New York to stay on top of the latest techniques. Always eager to learn, she squeezes a few hair shows in each year also! She has done creative and period design for world famous Broadway shows including Broadway Bound, Rumours, and 42nd Street. Toni was also a stylist in her hometown of Pittsburgh, for The Civic Light Opera., where she designed period styles for numerous shows. Her experience and education make her an expert in her field and she cultivates the art of style, and discipline of technical excellence, in all who work with her.
When she's not busy in creating art in the studio, she is spending time with her husband, Ed, their dog Bentley, or dreaming in her Airstream.
Toni's motto? She believes the world should lighten up! And...she does dream in color!
"Colors are elemental. It's the individual stylist who blends the colors at their will, that makes it art."
